India’s Festive Season: Top Lures for Months of October and November

India is seeped in mythology that spans many millennia and its festive season is considered by many as the best time to watch its many colors as well as hues from up close. It is therefore no wonder that tourists from round the world queue up to reserve tickets on India bound flights in order to immerse themselves in this culturally stimulating experience.


The festivities in the subcontinent kick off in October with the Navratra, a period of night days and nights which culminate in the celebrations of Dussehra, the tenth day. According to legend, this day signifies the return of the rightful heir of Ayodhaya, Lord Rama to his kingdom after an exile of 14 years in the forest. Those booking flights to India during the months of October and November are sure to be enthralled by the amazingly colorful fireworks display that lasts well into the night.
